2. Description of Service

WaveTrimmer is a web-based audio trimming tool that allows users to trim audio files directly in their browser. All processing occurs client-side in your browser, and audio files are never uploaded to our servers. The service is free for audio files under 1 hour. Additional features requiring credits include processing files longer than 1 hour and adding intro/outro audio to your files.

3. User Responsibilities

When using WaveTrimmer, you agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Not use the service to process any audio content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the service
• Not use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
• Ensure you have the right to use and modify any audio files you process

4. Credits and Payment

WaveTrimmer uses a credits-based payment system for premium features. Credits are purchased through our payment processor, Stripe. Credits do not expire and can be used at any time. One credit is consumed when processing audio files longer than 1 hour or when adding intro/outro audio. All payments are final and non-refundable, except as required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us.

5. Intellectual Property

WaveTrimmer and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by WaveTrimmer and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the audio files you process using our service. We do not claim any ownership rights to your audio content.

6. User Content

Since all audio processing occurs client-side in your browser, your audio files are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We have no access to your audio content and do not claim any rights to it. You are solely responsible for the content you process and must ensure you have all necessary rights and permissions.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

WaveTrimmer is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the service. Your use of the service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WaveTrimmer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WaveTrimmer and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claim, demand, or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

WaveTrimmer uses third-party services, including Stripe for payment processing and analytics services for usage tracking. These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.
